This ministry was birthed out of a passion to Make Disciples through the use of the Holy Hip-Hop. In 1997 Craig son of GOD (Craig S.O.G) released a Holy Hip-Hop project called "It's a New Life Thang!" which he sold during his concerts throughout the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ & CT). The idea of using Hip-Hop to make disciples was planted in Craig's heart back in 1991 when he read the book "the Master Plan for Evangelism" by Dr. Robert E. Coleman. Craig was not content at just being a successful solo rapper who went around place to place performing Christian Rap. He wanted to make disciples who would join him on this exciting mission of evangelizing the world for Christ.
This blog will not only tell the story of Beats N Blessings and the amazing testimonies of how the ministry transformed so many lives, but its a resource for anyone who has a heart for reaching the Hip-Hop Generation with God's word.
Come with with me on a journey that started out as just thought that became an inspiration that fueled a passion of seeing young people influenced by Hip-Hop transformed by Jesus Christ.
